Come experience the awesome beauty of the West Sedona Area. AZ OHV Ambassadors will lead ride participants on a tour of some of the most beautiful OHV trails anywhere. To reach the staging area: from I-17 near Camp Verde take exit #287 for AZ-260 towards Cottonwood. Continue on AZ-260 west for 12.4 miles to AZ-89A North. Follow AZ-89 North for 8.9 Miles to Forest Road 525 (also known as Angel Valley Rd.) on the west side of 89A. Take Forest Road 525 for approximately .3 miles to staging area on your left. The Ambassadors will meet you in the staging area.

Both camping areas are located southwest of Sedona between Sedona an Cottonwood on the west side of State Route 89A off Forest Road 525. Here are the general directions to get to Forest Road 525 assuming you are coming North on I-17 from the Phoenix area.
Follow I-17 North towards Camp Verde to exit 287 for AZ-260 towards 89A/Cottonwood/Payson. Use the left 2 lanes to turn left onto AZ-260W (Finnie Flat Rd)…follow the signs for AZ89A/Cottonwood/Jerome. Continue on AZ-260W for 12.4 miles…as you approach 12 miles pick up any last minute items at the Walmart or Home Depot or gas here…there are no services past this point.
At the stop light turn right onto Arizona State Route 89A (AZ-89A)…continue for 8.9 miles to Forest Road 525 on your left (there is a sign just before the left turn lane opens up)…turn left on Forest Road 89A. The GPS Coordinates for this point are: 34.814104,-111.905.
For camping area 1 (preferred): Once on Forest Road 525, follow the road approximately .5 miles to the intersection with Forest Road 761B…turn left onto FR761B and follow for approximately .4 miles to the camping area on your left.
For camping area 2 (alternate): Once on Forest Road 525, follow the road approximately .7 miles to the large camping area on your left.
The 4-Peaks OHV area offers a variety of different types of OHV trails. The ride will be highlighted by a trip to the top of 4-Peaks as well as Hidden Cove at Saguaro Lake. To reach the staging area: travel north on State Route 87 towards Payson to the 4 Peaks OHV Area. Turn right on the east side of the road approximately 14 miles north of Fort McDowell. Travel on well graded dirt road for approximately 1 mile to staging area on your right. Ambassadors will meet you in the parking lot. GPS Coordinates: 33.669202, -111.495270
